INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION IN THE YEAR OF EUROPEAN CULTURAL HERITAGE
The Gallery of Matica srpska
From 11th of April to 13th of April, 2018
In the year of European Cultural Heritage the Gallery of Matica srpska will host colleagues from two European institutions: The Institute for Conservation and Restoration Opificio delle Pietre Dure – OPD from Florence (Italy) and from the Kunsthistorisches Museum from Wien (Austria). The contemporary stay of the colleagues from Italy and Austria will be the occasion for better connection and understanding of traditions and modern practice devoted to preservation, display, study and promotion of Cultural Heritage.
The visit of the conservators from Florence is based on the collaboration through the International Training Projects of the Italian Ministry of Culture and with the support of the Italian Embassy in Belgrade and the Italian Institute for Culture in Belgrade.
The visit of the colleague from Wien is the continuation of exchanging visits between the two museums inside the Protocol of collaboration, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia and of the Austrian Cultural Forum Belgrade.
