The Pride of Nation. 175 years of the Gallery of Matica Srpska

On the occasion of the great jubilee – 175 years since the foundation of the Gallery of Matica Srpska – a new monograph study of the institution was published in Serbian and English version. The book brings the history of the institution and points out its role in the construction of national identity through the collection, display and presentation of works of fine art along with the story of people, events and moments that indisputably determined its identity.
